December 2003
I'm finishing up my therapy from the surgury. Still have not say behind the drumset yet, but have been hitting the pad, all is going better than expected.
I also have been writing more drum exercises that I hope will turn into a book on Double Bass drumming.
Have a safe and happy holiday!
September 2003
I was meant to perform a few drum clinics this month, one on the 17th with 4 more after that. While I was rehearsing backing musicians, I had severe pain in my right hand. I had a lump on my palm for a few months and thought nothing much of it, until it effected my drumming. I went to the doctor and found it to be a condition called Dupuytrens Contracture.
This is basically a nodule, I have 2, on a fibrous layer of tissue between my skin and tendons. It is causing my ring finger and little finger to bend forward. It is painful. I am scheduled for surgery Friday, Oct.3rd.. Therapy and recovery should be at least a month. There is a lot of info on the web about it. If any other drummers that experienced this please let me know.
I will let you know more as I learn more.

July 2003
My latest book,"Studies in Drumset Independence Vol. 2" was released in May.
Lots going on as usual, that's why there have not been many updates.
After living in Southern California for so long I couldn't take the long winter in Centeral New York, so my family and I decided to move to West Palm Beach Florida. The weather is much nicer!
Just getting unpacked and situated, updates to follow.
March 2003
I just completed the final edit for Studies in Drum Set Independence Vol. 2.
I have a picture of the cover on the Drum Books page and it will be released April 2003!
Writing a few more instrumental tunes and still writing more books. And a few more surprises in the works.
